Motobatt Batteries are designed specifically with motorcycles in mind. Considerations such as extra current draw due to hard wired 'always on' headlights have been taken into account during their design. Motobatts have also been designed with a higher Amp-Hour rating allowing them to withstand repeated start attempts without draining very quickly - especially useful for big twins and trail bikes. The construction of Motobatts is really what sets them apart though. The AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt) technology gives the batteries far longer life cycles than most and drastically increases reliability. The AGM technology also allows the batteries to be completely sealed which means maintenance free. No more messy acid to deal with and they're ready to go right out of the box. You can even use them on their side. When necessary, these batteries should be charged with an AGM compatible charger.
